Our story
Why we started Bayou Beam
Our field crew has spent years erecting, repairing and extending pre-engineered steel buildings around Houston, from 30x40 shops to large clear-span warehouses. Over and over we saw the same problem: owners bought a kit, then had to find a slab contractor, an erector, a door installer and an electrician on their own, and nobody owned the whole job.
Bayou Beam brings it under one roof. We self-perform the steel package with our own crew and manage the other trades (concrete, site prep, MEP, doors and finishes), so you get one contract, one schedule and one person to call.
We also do the work many builders won’t: repairs, re-sheeting, door cut-ins, added bays and lean-tos on buildings that are already standing, including ones we didn’t build.
