Steel Warehouses & Commercial Buildings

A pre-engineered steel building is usually the fastest and most economical way to put a warehouse, shop or commercial shell on a Houston-area site. We self-perform the steel erection and coordinate the slab, doors and trades, so owners and GCs get one accountable contractor.

Dock doors and large drive-in doors are significant line items.
Site work and paving
Drainage, detention, parking and fire lanes are often required by the site plan.
Foundation
Commercial slabs, piers and grade beams engineered for your soil report.
Finish-out and code
Offices, restrooms, fire protection and accessibility for your occupancy type.

Can you erect steel for my general contractor?

Yes. Our steel erection service is built for GCs and owners who have already bought a pre-engineered package. We read the erection drawings, set anchor-bolt checks before the pour, and erect with our own crew and equipment.

Why pre-engineered steel for commercial buildings?

Pre-engineered buildings arrive cut, punched and labeled, so erection is fast and predictable. The manufacturer designs the frame for your exact loads and provides stamped drawings for permitting. Compared with conventional framing, that usually means a shorter schedule and less waste.

FAQ

Warehouses & Commercial questions

How much does a steel warehouse cost in Houston?

Price depends on size, loads, doors, site work and finish-out. See sample per-square-foot ranges in our cost guide, then request a written quote for your site.

Do you work with my architect and engineers?

Yes. We coordinate with your architect, civil engineer and MEP designers, or bring in our partners for a design-build approach.

Can you add on to an existing warehouse?

Yes. Endwall extensions, added bays and lean-tos are part of our repairs and extensions service.

How long does commercial steel erection take?

Erection is usually the short part of the schedule, often weeks for small and mid-size buildings. Engineering, permitting and manufacturing lead times drive the overall timeline, which we lay out in writing.

Are you insured for commercial work?

Yes. Certificates of insurance are available on request for owners and GCs.
