Turnkey design-build

Turnkey Metal Buildings, Start to Finish

Turnkey means one contractor handles your whole steel building: design, engineered drawings, permits, site prep, foundation, erection, doors and the trades you need. You get one contract, one schedule and one point of contact, and we self-perform the steel package with our own crew.

What’s included

What does our turnkey service include?

  • Design & sizing

We help you choose the footprint, eave height, doors and options around how you’ll use the building.

  • Engineered drawings

  • Permits

We prepare and submit the permit package with you, or for you, to the right city or county office.

Why choose a turnkey metal building contractor?

Buying a kit and hiring separate crews for the pad, slab, erection and doors puts you in charge of the schedule, and of every gap between trades. Anchor bolts that don’t match the drawings or a slab poured before the building order is final are the most common and expensive mistakes we see.

With turnkey, one contractor owns the sequence. We size the slab to the stamped drawings, check anchor-bolt layout before the pour, and stage delivery when the crew is ready.

What do I still decide?

  • Size, eave height and roof style
  • Wall, roof, trim and wainscot colors
  • Door and window sizes and locations
  • Insulation level
  • How much finish-out you want us to coordinate

FAQ

Turnkey questions

Is turnkey more expensive than buying a kit?

The contract price is higher because it includes everything, but you avoid paying for coordination mistakes, rework and schedule gaps between separate trades. Our cost guide compares kit, erected and turnkey pricing.

Do you handle permits?

Yes. We prepare the permit package with the manufacturer’s stamped drawings and submit it with or for you.

Can I hire my own electrician or finish carpenter?

Yes. Turnkey can include as much or as little finish-out as you want. We coordinate around your trades.

What types of buildings do you build turnkey?

Shops and garages, barndominium shells, RV and boat storage, warehouses and commercial shells, and ag buildings. See all building types.
